iLMS Live is required by law to inform its Customers of its policies regarding privacy of Customer information. iLMS Live collects a variety of non-public personal information about its Customers, which is provided to iLMS Live by the Customer or obtained by iLMS Live with the authorization of the Customer. iLMS Live does not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of its business except as required or permitted by law. Permitted disclosures include, for instance, passing your personal information to a third party vendor during the signup process so that they may be able to carry out their function of software and data base support. In all such situations, iLMS Live stresses the confidential nature of information being shared. Nonpublic personal information is retained by iLMS Live to serve its Customers in the normal course of their independent business. In order to guard its Customers' nonpublic information, iLMS Live maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards.
iLMS Live is the sole owner of the information collected on its Web sites
In order to become a Customer, an applicant must first complete and submit the Customer Application and Agreement. During enrollment an applicant is required to give contact information, such as name and email address. We use this information to maintain contact with the Customer as is necessary pursuant to the Agreement.
iLMS Live requests information from Customers with the iLMS Live online order form, when the Customer orders products or services.. A Customer purchasing products or services, must provide contact information (such as name, Customer ID Number, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill orders. In the event iLMS Live has trouble processing an order, that information is used to contact the Customer.
Special Offers and Updates - iLMS Live sends all new Customers a welcoming email to verify password, username, and acceptance of the Customer Agreement. All Customers will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter.
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.
iLMS Live communicates with Customers via email, iConferencing, and telephone on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their iLMS Live purchase.
Legal Disclaimer - Though iLMS Live makes every effort to preserve Customer privacy, iLMS Live may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on iLMS Live.
iLMS Live Does Not Share Personal Information about Customers with any Third Parties.
When iLMS Live uses an outside shipping company to ship orders, and/or a credit card processing company to bill Customers for goods and services, these companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
In the event iLMS Live goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, Customer's personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Customers will be notified prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. If as a result of the business transition, a Customer's personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection the Customer will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.
Customers are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so Customers can make an informed choice as to whether or not they should proceed with services that require an outside party.
Should the iLMS Live Web sites contain links to other sites. Please be aware that iLMS Live is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage Customers to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by Customer's Web sites.
iLMS Live takes every precaution to protect Customer's information. When Customers submit sensitive information via iLMS Live Web sites, their information is protected both online and off-line.
When the Customer Application and online order forms ask users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or license numbers etc), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry.
While iLMS Live uses encryption to protect sensitive information online, the Company also does everything in our power to protect Customer information off-line. All Customer information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in iLMS Live offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on Company security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment
